I have a BA (Hons) in Humanities from the Open University and this included completing the courses Studying Family & Community History 19th and 20th Centuries and Science, Technology and Everyday Life 1870-1950. I am particularly interested in the role of women within 19th and 20th Century social history. I am joint coordinator of the FACHRS School & Community Research Project and am also the co-ordinator of the 2013 FACHRS mini project Victorian School Mistresses 1851 to 1911.
