Mark Rothery

I obtained my BA Hons, MA and Phd all in history from the University of Exeter where I studied between 1997 and 2005. I was awarded the Postan Postdoctoral Research Fellowship by the Economic History Society and the Institute of Historical Research in 2005, which I took at the University of Cambridge. I have been involved in several large-scale research projects on aristocracy, gender and the consumer revolution and, at present, my research interests focus on the emotions of the aristocracy in eighteenth and nineteenth century Britain. I am currently an Associate Professor of History at the University of Northampton.
