Valerie Sanders I studied at Coventry Polytechnic, now Coventry University, to get my HND in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing. I then had a career in Banking at Midland Bank which then became HSBC. I have always been interested in history, especially family and social history and joined FACHRS in 2006, becoming a committee member in 2013. I accompany the Membership Secretary to Family History Fairs to help get the society more known and to recruit new members.
