A FACHRS subscription is valid for one year (12 months) beginning 1st February and ending on 31st January of the following calendar year. If you join the Family & Community Historical Research Society part way through a year you will receive the back issues of the Society’s Journal “Family & Community History” and back issues of the Society’s Newsletter.

Academic Journal
Every member is entitled to receive our academic, peer-reviewed Journal Family and Community History published three times a year. This contains a variety of papers submitted by academics and society members. These are sourced by the Journal editor and all are peer-reviewed before being accepted for publication.
Members also have full access to all the past volumes of the journal via the Taylor and Francis website where you will also find a complete list of published articles.
Newsletter
As a member you receive a regular newsletter. Apart from news and updates this contains articles written by members about their research. One article each year is chosen to receive the Paul Newton-Taylor award. You would be welcome to contribute.
Each issue also features a number of relevant book reviews from our team of dedicated reviewers.

e-bulletin
