In addition to the trustees, we have a team of hard-working volunteers who together are the committee. Committee members are elected for a two-year period at the Society’s AGM. Committee members may seek re-election at the conclusion of their two-year period. All members are eligible for appointment to the Committee on a voluntary basis. If you would like to become a committee member, please contact the Society’s Honorary Secretary. The criteria are simply that you have an active interest in family and community history, you are willing to ‘get involved’, and you have self-belief that you can add value to the team.
